ASEAN Fellowship for PhD at IITs
In fulfillment of PM's announcement at the 25th Anniversary of ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit (25 January 2018) regarding an offer of 1000 fellowships to ASEAN scholars for integrated PhD programmes at the IITs, EAM and Minister of HRD yesterday launched the admission portal (http://asean.ittd.ac.in)
The entire fellowship programme is being funded by MHRD. They have set aside Rs. 300 crore for this scheme to be implemented over a period of 4 years, making it the single largest ASEAN-focused capacity development programme by India so far.
IIT-Delhi is the lead coordinator for the programme.

The website is already live and interested candidates can log into the portal to apply for any programme at any IIT of their choice.
The last date of submission of applications for the semester starting from January 2020 is 31 October 2019. Applicants will have to register on the website and then submit copies of their academic records, statement of purpose and recommendation letters online.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email to appear for an interview via Skype.
Then the selected candidates will be intimated to complete their visa formalities and come and join the institute.
