Road Show on Source India 2019 : A Mega Event on Entire Range of ‘Fibre to Fashion’

The Synthetic & Rayon Textile Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC) organized a Road Show in Jakarta on 11^th July, 2019 to promote Source India 2019, a mega event tipped as India’s largest sourcing show for Manmade Fibre Textile Products, displaying the entire range of “Fibre to Fashion”, being organized in Mumbai from 21 to 23 August, 2019.

Ibu Shinta W. Kamdani, Vice Chairwoman of Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) in her welcome speech said that the Road Show would provide an overview of prospects of the Indian Textile Industry in the Indonesian Market and encouraged the Indonesian companies to participate in Source India with a view to build mutually beneficial partnerships. Ambassador Pradeep Kumar Rawat in his keynote address said that the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two emerging economies of the world, India and Indonesia, is growing from strength to strength. He said that Source India 2019 would provide immense opportunities for Indonesia in the entire range of Man-made Fibre Textile Products and hoped that the Road Show would pave way for participation of Indonesian Textile Industry in good numbers. Mr Narain Aggarwal and Shri Dinesh Modi of SRTEPC gave a presentation on the takeaways for the Indonesian Textile Industry from Source India and later answered to queries of the participants in a Q&A Session. The Road Show was attended by members of Indonesian Textile Industry and Senior functionaries of APINDO from Textiles Sector.
