“Flavors of India” Indian Food Festival commences at Westin Jakarta

( 12 – 23 March 2018)

 

     Embassy of India in Jakarta along with Hotel Westin would be jointly organizing an Indian Food Festival titled “Flavours of India” at Level 51 of the Westin Jakarta from Monday, 12th March, 2018 to 28th March

 

         During the two week period, the Indian Food Festival “Flavors of India” will showcase some of the choicest and best of Indian cuisine to Indonesian food connoisseurs. As a part of their collaborative practice, Westin Jakarta have flown in an expert Indian Chef Nandan Singh Dhami from JW Marriot Mumbai, who would also be giving a performance of select Indian cooking at the media inaugural on 9th March.

 

     Given the shared civilizational history of Indonesia and India including the famous “Spice Route”, it is expected that the Food Festival will further strengthen the aromatic and culinary bonding between the two countries. At the Seasonal Tastes restaurant of Westin Hotel. Signature Indian delicacies varying from starters, coolers, street food, Vegetarian, Non – Vegetarian, and Seafood will be served specially prepared by the Indian Chef.  Timings are: Lunch 12.00 to 15.00 dinner 18.00 to 2200 hrs.

 

     H.E Ambassador of India, Shri. Pradeep Kumar Rawat along with prominent dignitaries of Indonesia would be jointly inaugurating the  “Flavors of India” Food Festival on 12th March evening.
